My name is Mohamed, I am Amazigh (Berber), and I come from a region where hospitality, traditions and respect for visitors are part of our identity. I grew up getting to know Moroccan culture up close, the customs of local communities and the stories that make each region of Morocco so special.
Over the years, my passion for meeting people and sharing the richness of my country led me to build my career in tourism. Working as a guide and organising trips, I realised that knowing Morocco goes far beyond visiting monuments and landscapes: it means discovering its culture, connecting with its people and living truly unique moments.
It was with this vision that Marrocos Passeios was born, a project created to offer private trips, personalised experiences and close, family-style service. My goal is for every traveller to discover Morocco in an authentic way, with comfort, confidence and freedom to enjoy every moment.
For me, every trip is an opportunity to share a little of our history, our roots and the hospitality that makes Morocco an unforgettable destination.
Get ready for an unforgettable adventure through Morocco, starting in the fascinating port city of Tangier and ending in vibrant Marrakech. This carefully planned 10-day itinerary takes you through the country’s main treasures, combining ancient history, breathtaking landscapes, authentic culture and unique experiences.
Duration: 10 days / 9 nights
Route: Tangier → Chefchaouen → Fez → Sahara Desert → Ouarzazate → Marrakech
Arrive at the port city of Tangier, the meeting point of the Mediterranean and the Atlantic. After disembarking, explore the medina, the Grand Socco and Cape Spartel, where the oceans meet. Dine at a traditional restaurant overlooking the Strait of Gibraltar.
In the morning, head to the Rif mountains for charming Chefchaouen. Spend the day exploring its blue streets, visiting the Uta el-Hammam Square and the Grand Mosque. In the afternoon, walk to the Spanish Mosque to admire the sunset over the city.
Leave the mountains and travel to the Roman ruins of Volubilis, an impressive archaeological site. Continue to Meknes, the imperial city, where you will visit the Bab Mansour gate, the granaries of Moulay Ismail and the Mausoleum of Moulay Ismail.
A short distance to Fez, the cultural capital. Start by exploring the medina, including the Al Quaraouiyine University, the tanneries and the Bou Inania and Attarine madrasas. End the day with dinner at a traditional restaurant in the medina labyrinth.
Dedicate this day to discovering more treasures of Fez: visit the Jewish quarter (Mellah), the Royal Palace and the Nejjarine Museum. In the afternoon, take part in a pottery or Moroccan cooking workshop before relaxing in a traditional hammam.
Travel through the Middle Atlas mountains, passing Ifrane and the Ziz Valley. Arrive in Merzouga at dusk for a camel ride to the camp in Erg Chebbi. Dinner and Berber music under the stars.
Wake early for the sunrise over the dunes before returning to the village. Continue to the impressive Todgha Gorge, where you can walk between canyons 300 m high. Spend the night in a local hotel with a view of the rock formations.
Explore the Dades Valley, known as the “Valley of a Thousand Kasbahs”. Stop in Boumalne Dades to admire the panoramic view and visit the traditional ksour (fortified villages). Spend the night in a characteristic hotel in the valley.
Visit the famous Ait Ben Haddou ksar (UNESCO World Heritage Site), a setting for films such as Gladiator. Continue to Ouarzazate, visiting the Atlas Studios and the Taourirt Kasbah.
Cross the High Atlas mountains via the spectacular Tizi n’Tichka pass (2,260 m). Arriving in Marrakech, start by exploring Jemaa el-Fnaa square and the surrounding souks.

Amazing experience in Marrakech and Sahara Desert/Amazing experience in Marrakech and Sahara Desert I would like to share here a travel experience I had in Morocco (Marrakech/Merzouga-Sahara) at the beginning of June now (2024). I decided after researching a lot of other reviews here and on Google, as I wanted to do the desert and Marrakech. I closed a package with the guide Mohamed. Despite speaking English, I found the opportunity to have a Portuguese-speaking guide in Morocco interesting. We closed a 4-day package for me and my daughter. From the moment we landed, Mohamed was there to protect and guide us. The tour was private in a 4x4 car, prepared for the desert. On the first day we stayed in a beautiful, fragrant, first-class Riad, inside the Medina. In fact, every day the hotels/Riads/tent in the desert were luxurious. Mohamed protected us from everything (the tourist cities in Morocco have a lot of people asking for money and wanting to sell you things for exorbitant prices). We participated in a caravan in the Sahara with dromedaries heading to the tents. ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE!! The guide Mohamed met everything we asked for, everything we wanted, in our time. Mohamed speaks Arabic, Berebre (language of the desert people), Spanish, Portuguese and English and a little French. He sang desert songs to the sound of drums with other natives and was always paying attention to us. As we were two women alone, we were afraid, but the guide (who is passionate about Brazil) was our salvation! It's really worth signing up with someone trustworthy like Mohamed. These cheap day trips from Marrakech to the desert are crazy! There is a lot to see and experience, Morocco is very big!! Imagine being in a slow van full of people??!! Look... Ask Mohamed to take you to restaurants outside the tourist attractions. The experience becomes much more real and cheaper outside of tourist restaurants that only serve chicken: the small restaurants that Mohamed knows are typically Moroccan, very well served with bread, goat tagine with incredible sauce) much cheaper for three people versus the price of the tourist ones whose price per person (starter, chicken dish and side dish) is almost the value of the non-tourist ones for three. Best investment I've made in recent years. Thank you, Mohamed, for everything! Our tour ended today, 06/08, unfortunately. Tomorrow we will go for a hot air balloon ride (all arranged by Mohamed). We are very grateful for the patience, concern and education of this friendly Berebere. I recommend it with my eyes closed. You can trust Mohamed. I paid for everything in advance (06/05 to 06/09/2024) and Mohamed arranged all our stays, tours, purchases (only advice: prefer to buy turbans and dresses, Moroccan oil, drinks and bottled water in Marrakech, it's much more affordable. Mohamed has become a dear friend and we want to welcome him to Brazil, as it's a dream of his. You can trust him, because I think it's SO WORTH IT!!Publicado em Tripadvisor![]()
