My name is Mohamed, I am Amazigh (Berber), and I come from a region where hospitality, traditions and respect for visitors are part of our identity. I grew up getting to know Moroccan culture up close, the customs of local communities and the stories that make each region of Morocco so special.
Over the years, my passion for meeting people and sharing the richness of my country led me to build my career in tourism. Working as a guide and organising trips, I realised that knowing Morocco goes far beyond visiting monuments and landscapes: it means discovering its culture, connecting with its people and living truly unique moments.
It was with this vision that Marrocos Passeios was born, a project created to offer private trips, personalised experiences and close, family-style service. My goal is for every traveller to discover Morocco in an authentic way, with comfort, confidence and freedom to enjoy every moment.
For me, every trip is an opportunity to share a little of our history, our roots and the hospitality that makes Morocco an unforgettable destination.
This 8-day itinerary offers a concentrated experience of Morocco’s best attractions, combining historic cities, breathtaking landscapes and the magical desert experience. Ideal for travellers who want to capture the essence of the country in limited time, the itinerary was carefully planned to maximise your time without sacrificing comfort.
Duration: 8 days / 7 nights
Route: Tangier → Chefchaouen → Fez → Sahara Desert → Ouarzazate → Marrakech
Your flight arrives in cosmopolitan Tangier, a strategic city between two seas. After landing, your private guide will take you to explore key points: the busy medina, the vibrant Grand Socco and the emblematic Cape Spartel. There, the waters of the Mediterranean and the Atlantic meet.
To finish, a seaside dinner awaits. Enjoy the first dishes of Moroccan cuisine while watching the ships in the Strait of Gibraltar.
In the morning we set off for the Rif mountains. After a 3-hour drive through rural landscapes, we arrive in charming Chefchaouen. Known as the “Blue Pearl”, the city captivates with its blue walls.
In the afternoon, explore freely the Uta el-Hammam Square and the Grand Mosque. We recommend climbing to the Spanish Mosque at sunset, when you will see the city bathed in gold.
In the morning we leave the mountains and stop at the Roman ruins of Volubilis. There, mosaics and columns tell stories of the past. We then continue to Fez, the most imperial of cities.
At the end of the day we take a walk through the medina (a UNESCO World Heritage Site). Then have dinner in a traditional riad in the heart of the city.
Today we exchange the cities for the desert. We cross the cedar forests of the Atlas, passing Ifrane and the Ziz valley.
On arrival in Merzouga we exchange the vehicles for camels. Enjoy an unforgettable journey across the Erg Chebbi dunes at sunset. At night, a traditional dinner and Berber music under the stars.
Wake early for the sunrise over the dunes, perfect for photos. After breakfast, we continue to the Todgha Gorge. There, 300-metre walls create a dramatic landscape.
Explore the dry riverbed and admire the unique formations. Overnight in a hotel with a view of the canyons.
Today we travel through the Dades Valley (“Valley of a Thousand Kasbahs”). We stop for photos and visit the Ksar of Ait Ben Haddou. This is the most famous group of mud-brick architecture in Morocco.
In Ouarzazate we visit the Atlas Studios and the Taourirt Kasbah. Finally, have dinner in the capital of Moroccan cinema.
We begin one of the most scenic journeys: the crossing of the High Atlas via the Tizi n’Tichka pass. Along the way, Berber villages and deep valleys alternate.
In Marrakech we explore Jemaa el-Fnaa square. In the evening the square becomes a spectacle of lights and flavours. Have dinner on a terrace overlooking the activity.
Your flight in the afternoon allows a morning of discovery. Visit the Majorelle Garden, the Bahia Palace and the Ben Youssef Madrasa.
Finally, free time for shopping in the souks. Take home unforgettable memories of authentic Morocco.

Amazing experience in Marrakech and Sahara Desert/Amazing experience in Marrakech and Sahara Desert I would like to share here a travel experience I had in Morocco (Marrakech/Merzouga-Sahara) at the beginning of June now (2024). I decided after researching a lot of other reviews here and on Google, as I wanted to do the desert and Marrakech. I closed a package with the guide Mohamed. Despite speaking English, I found the opportunity to have a Portuguese-speaking guide in Morocco interesting. We closed a 4-day package for me and my daughter. From the moment we landed, Mohamed was there to protect and guide us. The tour was private in a 4x4 car, prepared for the desert. On the first day we stayed in a beautiful, fragrant, first-class Riad, inside the Medina. In fact, every day the hotels/Riads/tent in the desert were luxurious. Mohamed protected us from everything (the tourist cities in Morocco have a lot of people asking for money and wanting to sell you things for exorbitant prices). We participated in a caravan in the Sahara with dromedaries heading to the tents. ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE!! The guide Mohamed met everything we asked for, everything we wanted, in our time. Mohamed speaks Arabic, Berebre (language of the desert people), Spanish, Portuguese and English and a little French. He sang desert songs to the sound of drums with other natives and was always paying attention to us. As we were two women alone, we were afraid, but the guide (who is passionate about Brazil) was our salvation! It's really worth signing up with someone trustworthy like Mohamed. These cheap day trips from Marrakech to the desert are crazy! There is a lot to see and experience, Morocco is very big!! Imagine being in a slow van full of people??!! Look... Ask Mohamed to take you to restaurants outside the tourist attractions. The experience becomes much more real and cheaper outside of tourist restaurants that only serve chicken: the small restaurants that Mohamed knows are typically Moroccan, very well served with bread, goat tagine with incredible sauce) much cheaper for three people versus the price of the tourist ones whose price per person (starter, chicken dish and side dish) is almost the value of the non-tourist ones for three. Best investment I've made in recent years. Thank you, Mohamed, for everything! Our tour ended today, 06/08, unfortunately. Tomorrow we will go for a hot air balloon ride (all arranged by Mohamed). We are very grateful for the patience, concern and education of this friendly Berebere. I recommend it with my eyes closed. You can trust Mohamed. I paid for everything in advance (06/05 to 06/09/2024) and Mohamed arranged all our stays, tours, purchases (only advice: prefer to buy turbans and dresses, Moroccan oil, drinks and bottled water in Marrakech, it's much more affordable. Mohamed has become a dear friend and we want to welcome him to Brazil, as it's a dream of his. You can trust him, because I think it's SO WORTH IT!!Publicado em Tripadvisor![]()
